Hi, i was thinking about making my second attempt at a shifter. But have a few questions.
I really would like to know if feats like stealthy and epic skill focus say hide will apply when shifted as a kobold for example.
Also what about hide boots and cloaks, does the +7 on your boots and cloak, even rings work once you shift ? and while on this does the ghostwise token also work if you activate it then shift ?
There also seems to be some confusion if say a monk/druid/shifter in some forms will beniefit from wpn focuses unarmed, imp crit unarmed (say in tiger - i know you can stun fist in tiger form though.) does the same apply to shortswords for the kobold or longsword for the drow guy ??
lastly the info on the wiki WAS up to date but im a little confused on how Linux has fixed the shifter crash bug, something about how your items apply - any details available on this.
Any answers anyone could provide to these questions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Shifter forms and bonus to skills items/feats
the newest change to the shifting script to get the crashes to stop have given us a slew of crap we didn't have before...when we took them out.
basically the 3.5 script is an "apply everything" script. all items worn and bonuses on them are applied to your new form.
anything on your char sheet is applied to any form you turn into. this includes feats and skills.
take note on making new shifters.....we are looking at them very hard and tweaking will be coming for many of the shapes.

I did modify the code a bit so that it doesn't merge gloves... old ns4 code didn't, so I didn't want to unbalance anything.

Just an fyi, skill bonus items do not stack, if you have multiple items that give you discipline it only takes the highest.
That being said now that Linux did a awesome job of fixing crashes the shifters are being reworked some became to powerful others needed some love.
The great nerf of you monky shifters is coming
