Not allowing Character Names

I also have a had a problem when I tried to log into my new character that I just created. I am thinking that it might be because the name is too long? or maybe because it contains a , ? If anybody knows about the rules regarding character names that would be great

There are a couple of things to consider when making any new toon.

• The server will kick a name that is too long. Keep in mind that a lenghty name will cause lag. Do try to keep your name short, or at least within reason.
• Having toons with same exact name will cause you problems. If you want to use a name over again, try adding a period, dash, comma...etc, or rearrange a couple of letters.
• Naming a toon with the same exact name as a deleted toon may cause you problems. This one is a bit iffy. Only heard of this problem, so I'm not sure if this is an issue. Anyone out there with experience on this particular problem, please respond and tell us what you know.

Ive had this happend several times - both things.

1st if your names to long server wont let you in at all, gives you the security message thing.
I made a guy 2 year ago and i miss counted its a certain numer of char or less including spaces. (30) ???

Also used the exact name twice - made a guy didnt like it deleted and months later made a toon thought what a good name, forgot i had used it and then when i logged in..........
i had studded leather armour a cure light wounds potion a longsword lol just like in the ofline game - from memory zing had to help me clear it all out.

i think the character limit on names is 32 not 30 iirc
