earth gen damage reduction has a limit to how much it can absorb, after that it goes down. what do you mean by 'warding'?

People just call it "warding" because once earth genasi's reach lvl 30, the damage reduction gets the same visual effect as the epic spell : epic mage armor.

A lvl 40 erthgen ability has much of the same properties as a lvl 30 Premonition, it soaks 300 dmg. Do not confus this with epic warding wich will soak 1500 dmg at lvl 30 I just found this in th wiki and I did get an extreeme uge to remake my fight/wiz/wm :p

i know i have said all this b4 but..... i have/had a lvl 40 earth gen toon whom took epic warding.... the earth gen reduction lasts longer than the warding does.... imo earth gen DR>epic warding contrary to what the #'s suggest.....

and i think id take lvl 30 earth gen DR over premonition anyday....

Its an ECL of 2, nearly all my characters in RK are Duergar and I've gotten used to it so much I don't notice it. Theres a huge difference between ECL 2 and 3.

Hmm, perhaps the ecl for EarthGen should be looked at.

I am a Deep Gnome and have (ecl 3), yet I get hardly the boost that an earthGen gets.

I'm not complaining, just making an observations. I get at level 40 a wopping 20% Conceal (woohoo), and 40% SR which by the way does not stack thus its worthless.

So you see the lack of advantages yet I get ECL 3? So perhaps the Devs can take a look into either raising the EarthGen ECL or allowing Gnome SR to stack..

no sources of SR have ever stacked with any other sources of SR. i don't get why anyone ever thinks this.
and yes racial SR does suck. it'll block a whopping 5% of spells from a pure caster with full SP feats.

ddep gnomes get atlest 40% concealment, I have that at my lvl 24 one, wich frees up a clerical domain wich would otherwise have been used for trickery. Wehere as the erth gen gets to take erth domain(that should be forced). Spell resistance will not protect you from pure casters, but then agen you have to be a pure cleric or mok to beat it, wich few ppl realy are.

What realy needs to be fixed on the erthgen is the "have to take erth domain" wich is kind of wron that they dont have to...
