i never made any comment to your post. unless you post under several names. If i disagreed it was to tsavsong and mining. and yes i could tell you were being sarcastic.

it also seems if the general populace disagrees with something it doesn't get changed. so i didn't find the comment funny. since i was the only one voicing the opinion to get it changed. joking or not, it didn't help.

Why do undead have to be evil?

Do the reapers in HOD even have the inelegance to work out of they are evil?

Why is it that when it snows here people take the day off work to buy more bread and milk than they could eat be for it goes off?

At that stage I just grabbed the idea and ran with it.

I feel bad ruining the joke further, but I'm going to explain why they took this idea and ran with it. Because no one cares that one mob in HoD is neutral and not evil. Because this is a pointless suggestion that means nothing and there is no real reason for it to be changed. So what if you can't smite one mob in HoD? Get over it.

Virtually all undead are chaotic evil by definition... there might some exceptions, but yeah that looks like a bug.

Except the SRD states that a good solid quantity of undead are lawful, neutral evil. There're also a number of lawful good / any alignment undead, additionally see Necropolitan from Libris Morti, Dry Lich from... Sandstorm? , the Deathless type of undead from BoED, Good Lich from Monsters of Faerun, Emancipated Spawn from savage species.

i remember just before the '08 wipe, once late at night, squishee was able to "control" one of the reapers. then using the bugged portal system, we brought it back to LA to mess around. something about being the necromancer's pet made it increase in power. like from 800 hp to 1200 and maxed its ab bonus or somesuch. it's DR was obsurd. not a single one of us could defeat it.

i think it was Ajantis that decided to raid and got maimed a few times too. finally squishee got killed or something and thus lost control of it. it go soo mad and turned on us and wiped every single one of us. the thing was doing massive damage and more than one of us got one shotted. i didn't even get a hit on the thing. i can't remember laughing harder.

so reapers always hold a special place for me because of that night. that one was definitely Evil.

I was in that fight. Funny stuff besides the xp losses when killed by them

now that i know that,... reapers = best mob ever!! j/k. we all lost xp when it wiped us too but we didn't cry too much.

Sandstorm is horribly overpowered/unbalanced/vague, and then you go to the two most horribly overpowered/unbalanced/vague source books in the game, and then he suggests working in literally the most ridiculous books around the place to make it into a black hole, except with horribly overpowered/unbalanced/vague matter instead of normal matter.

And monkey hahaha, people do care. It is small and minor but it is an annoyance. It is wrong, was a mistake. IE not made on purpose, hence why the suggestion. Bugs are meant to be talked about.

Well, whats the flavour of reapers? Their examine seems not to suggest evilness to me.

Also, Monkey =/= Shamed, probably an idea to make that clear. There's monkey, with the abundance of toons at all levels, and Shamed, with Mcninja, Judgement, etc. at 40.
