Re: panther druid form lacks haste
if we fix panther + haste next thing you'll want is jobs in AO or something...wtf
Re: panther druid form lacks haste
Wait AO jobs are even lower on the to-do-list?
Re: panther druid form lacks haste
AO had a feed dwarf to dragon job...it just doesn't get any better.
You don't want to know how much testing it took to come up with the current numbers on speed increase + monk/barb for the humanoids that...suck a little less than they used to. It wasn't fun.

Re: panther druid form lacks haste
How about just adding blinding speed as a special ability for the panther shape?
You could make it unlimited uses and sure it might carry over when you switch back to caster form or another shape, but well I mostly play shifters and druids anyway

I say you stick to the panther fixing. Who needs AO jobs anyway.Amoenotep wrote:if we fix panther + haste next thing you'll want is jobs in AO or something...wtf

Pardon me if I continue going offtopic here, but AO jobs would be great. Too many AO's venture to avendell at very early levels and start grinding xp at the mountains, and naturally they often have a epic toon, either friend or duallogged to keep other players away from the xp paradise.

Simulacrum is true.

I've herd lots of reasons why ao should have jobs, like: "it's unbalansing", "it's unfair", "I dont have a good reason, give me the job anyways". I have never heard give em jobs so they'll stay off our bloody mountain :parvut wrote:Pardon me if I continue going offtopic here, but AO jobs would be great. Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

Well, maybe they need an open mind. So what a new generation has come into being since they 1st asked for jobs. jobs will wait. Haste and Panthers will not. They're too damn fast!VagaStorm wrote:I've herd lots of reasons why ao should have jobs, like: "it's unbalansing", "it's unfair", "I dont have a good reason, give me the job anyways". Things we must hold the DMs to.

Actually the speed was on panther and dire tiger, at lvl 40 try to fight vs npc or monster, or try to pwnd a toon then it is history for you. Playing a toon before retaliation is always a good thing, try it.if we fix panther + haste next thing you'll want is jobs in AO or something...wtf

Re: panther druid form lacks haste
i've never played a shifter...ever.
that being said for willows sake, before the last round of redo's on the shapes panther and dire tiger did have a speed bonus added to them. it stacked with haste and my monk levels which made my cats run really really fast. pure monk fast.
perhaps someday i'll play a shifter and see what all the fuss is about.

This is not the class you are looking for.

Re: panther druid form lacks haste
actually before the great nerf of TC panthers and dire tigers without monk (because monk ac barely helps ac of a druid with high wisdom)(the speed was calculated after monks/druids, monks/shifter was refigured) in class could travel at hasted speed for you non shifter players. Mostly just to travel between destinations, ab sukked on panther, dire was all right around the rest of the other shifter forms.if we fix panther + haste next thing you'll want is jobs in AO or something
So the nerf person nerfed it again. nerf monks, cleric, redo pure fighters bunus, and mages re nerf them again, oh and rogues to (they sneak to much). Give me a plus 2 club dibs
