With my Username:SonFlaggfoot, I am able to create a character and log in, but only once. After I've logged out, I can't relog... I get a message that says "user name still in use, try again in 5 minutes" (I get this message no matter how long I wait). However, if I create a new character, with the same Username:SonFlaggfoot I am able to play.
im not sure if this is the same issue that has been occuring with the other players.... can I correct this on my end or are you currently working on this issue?
should I hold off playing the NS4 beta until I can relog with the same character?

If you make a character with the same name as an existing character, the database can't tell them apart. The difference has to be in the first 16 letters (symbols, etc).
If you get the CD key in use message, try logging into each of the other servers. You will find the one you left and "unstick" your key. Once you are in, rest or activate the diary.
Try creating a charater with a different name (Other Son of Flaggfoot, for example) and see if the problem happens again. It will help if you connect directly to the server that holds the faction you want to join. For AO and RK, that's 1. SL and MA are 2. NC and TC are 3, and LA is on 4.
Try these suggestions and let us know.
