Gust of Wind changes

so if i get the update log right Gow no longer disperses the blood jello gas? but they can only split a fiew times ( or limited )

what was wrong with this? it require the use of mage or bard classes in HoD now without it this limits their usefulness even more atleast in thoes zones


im hoping it still has uses? dispersing acid fog, incidary cloud, cloud kill, Stonehold, mind fog for ex? what about on race or job tokens? ( MA and water gen ? ) a weak KD is still there i guess but it is weak any other uses i missed?

i dont think this was broken either. kinda like the danger of fighting them it was exciting.

I agree with that. Leave the amniotes be as they were. GoW was one of the few spells useful in HoD.

Amniotes were changes so they don't crash the server if a party makes a mistake or gets careless.

They can still generate plenty of spawns, just not enough to crash the server if unlucky.
Serving NS4 proper as Lathander and Sleeth as Bahamut.

Yes, I'm a DM, but your build still sucks.

well that makes sense, but i was unaware that they had ever crashed the server.

yep they had infinite splits before. and if you had no gusts for whatever reason, 1 would become 2,4,8,16,32 etc until the entire server crashed. and the more folks in your party, the faster it would happen.

real bad scene once you hit like 4 bloods.. around that point its not possible to kill them fast enough to avoid total death.

this change makes sense... a whole epic level mob concept should not nuked by a low level spell. however, their CR should be raised quite a bit since their challenge IS much higher now.
