bard song question

The bard is imo very strong. Even with a halved bard song from li it is still at the pinnacle of minmaxing character.
And no, bard song can't be dispelled. Not even the cradle does affect it afaik...

Obviously you haven't been to HoD or shadow planes, hell even dorfs can get you sometimes. I have seen level 40's stripped to their skivvies by the demi-lich whereas the shadarkai casters leave you with your socks on.

Flailer made those demiliches special to strip you naked of everything and kill you...its a feature

I took all the spell slots off one and keep it in my room. It's a real time saver come bed time.

Whenever the demiliches stripped my buffs, the only thing remaining was my bard song. That was before the subrace SR changes, so I think it should stick around now too... haven't been there in a while.

I've seen this happen too, in neg/pos/hod... but then again, it could be that the bardsong just happened to run out at the same time? ;]

BTW: I have a handful of bards and I have yet to run out of songs... and pre-wipe i normally had more than half my songs still ready by the time i needed to rest (for spell rebuffing)

I guess another perk for a pure bard would be doubling of the song duration, maybe double sonic damage, stronger wounding whispers, etc...

ive been with a bard to HOD and had my song striped of me along with all the other buffs the only diffrance with the bard song is can get it back up mid fight
