Something else to look out for when making a wizard are the spells that cannot be scribed (There's a post about it, you'll have to search for). These spells are seldom found as scroll drops. If you want one of these spells you'll need to take on level up. As far as finding scrolls; Orc, goblin and bandit areas are good places to find scrolls of all levels. Another method, make a cleric and you can scribe and transfer about a third of the spells.

I've been worrying about this at every levelup . I don't want to have to delevel just because I don't have every spell as i'd like to.

Don't worry. If you really go 40 lvls of pure wizard, you will know every spell on Aetheria. Especially if you took Illusion as your primary casting direction at the beginning.
