Black Guard Summon

Ok I will try to clarify the Black Devil requirements some more. It's more complex than the PM one, but easier to get.

The theoretical 22 levels I posted before assumes you have all the other requirements which boost this score - epic fiendish servant etc.

I will dig out more details.

Oh and if Solars are better - I'm going to have to tone them down a bit.

all i nkow is the solar made pancakes out fo PM master Lich, Epic Fendish servant and the 2 other dragon knight summons.....

seriously, the master lich and epic fiendish servant should be toned up a bit.

or just make undead graft work! ...but thats a differant topic

The BG summon is crazy ......

I fought one yesterday and it BEAT THE HELL OUT OF ME....

And i was useing my newly aqquired DS...made me real sad

What are the more details? Its the etc which we are interested in. We got/assumed the Epic Fiendish servant feat, 22 levels, ok, is there anything else? Based on the Summons Guide, while you might get a bonus from Spell Focus feats, it doesn't indicate that those feats are required for the Black Devil or Doom Knight.

As an aside based on the fact that in the normal NWN the BG's Create Undead eventually summons the Doom Knight one finds it odd that on NS4 the Doom Knight is summoned with the Summon Fiend ability. When I had read the summons guide because it says "Doom Knight AND Black Devil" its logical to conclude that Summon Fiend would summon the Black Devil and the Create Undead would summon the Doom Knight.

So being crit, paralyze, hold, stun (which ive heard also means yer sneak immune which translate into crip strike immune. but not sure on that one) immune isnt enough to tide you over until you get to lvl 30 to get your best summons. You want to get uber summons sooner as well.

While a BG basicly has : save boost (if they didnt screw themselves out of cha) / 2 cause crit spells (75 and 150 damage, max) and their summons. They arnt crit immune. they dont get ac boosts. Immunity to paralyze, ect.

Yep. Those poor pm's are definately getting the short end of the stick here

Ive had some experience with BG's, so ill put what i know the req's and boosters are.

Req : Bg lvl 15 + epic fiendish servent. (so if you made it right, you'd get the fiend. feat on bg lvl 16 and that turns your shadow fiend into doom knight automaticly)

Boosters : cleric with evil domain, and being planar race (so i THINK the genasi's, asimir and tiefling count for this. not sure exactly though)

So to max out your fiend summons (summerized)

1. At least 1 lvl of cleric for the "evil" domain
2. Be a planar race (make sure that your other domain, besides evil, matches whatever planar race you are. otherwise the char is invalid)
3. Put 30 levels into the Bg class. (right now my bg is a e-gen with 1 lvl cleric (earth, evil domain) 9 lvls of fighter and the rest are and going to be Bg (so far 18)

I think i was told a while back by a more experienced BG user that you get the black devil summons with 21 lvls of Bg. So another 3 lvls before i can verify that.

How much does taking 1 lvl of Cleric w/evil domain help your summons?

Think it boosts the str, con and dex stats. My summoned bg comes into being with these boosted (green). Not sure about any other boosts it gives, if any.

None ... i actually talked to zing before i left for wow the seconed time.

In order for the cleric domain to affect anythign it has to be casted as a cleric.

So a mage with 1 level of cleric wont get any buff. We tested this with zing on kromixes balor and such.

And as far as i know only asimar gives a subrace buff. I see no difference in my druids summon and my clerics summon other than Tem hp..... seems if you focus into summons they get a little temp hp boost every caster level.

The summons were ment for non prc builds that dont have mega summon capabilitys.

cor planar summons the "Uber" summon is 5 parts.

1)sf cng
2)greater sf cong
3)epic sf cong
4)Cleric Domain good/evil
5) asimar

This is for DK summon.... granted if u switch it up a bit its almost the exact same thing for mummy dust .... but u get the general idea.
