Tomes?

I was wondering............are ability tomes still dropping, havent seen one in ages. or did the drop percentage get reduced.

haven't seen in like 2 weeks eighter, thou not much online lately.

+4 tomes seems to be deleted from dropping thou

I've found at least 4 tomes in the last 2 weeks...

all of them +2.

the last time i saw a +4 drop was shortly after the wipe, all the others I have were from DM events.

The rate does seem a lot lower, perhaps it's because of all the new (mostly crappy-ie:low lvl) artifacts going in, increasingly lowering the chances of finding a tome (that is IF tomes are included in the artifacts list? perhaps they are a separate % roll?)

Can you get tomes from the dm prize arena?

The drop rate has not been touched, new items going in can have an effect but keep in mind a lvl5 item will not affect how often tomes drop since they are considered much different levels, but add 20 lvl 30 items(we didnt just an example) and yes you will see less since the random pick now has more to choose from.

interestingly i've seen any number of +2 books drop on reflections over the past few months, but i've never seen a +4 book ever (and neither has anyone i have ever partied with as far as i know, although i heard from a friend of a friend that someone they knew found a +4 book once a few weeks ago).

+4's do drop albiet very rare and in select areas.
+2's ivenoticed no change. Found 2 in one night last week...just luck i guess.

Havent seen a tome in about a month, but my freetime has been limited with home improvment projects latly. I dont get to game as much as id like latly. Does feel like the drop rate has been reduced to me.

I've never had a problem finding tomes.. try fighting different monsters. From what I can tell, tomes seem to drop more frequently on some monsters than others. Just a thought.

I found 2 on reflection last week.

Both were +2.
