Ok Dev's/DM's I am honestly upset with this.
Yes my second death with 10x the penalty.
This time I was fighting Orcs in the Black Hills. I died and received the level 13 error 10 times and then respawned to show I had taken 200 xp penalty and an unrealistic loss in gold. I looked and yes, I had taken 10x that penalty to the toon of 2000 xp loss. This time I am asking the 3k xp be given back to me. Yeah I know I'm a lowbie but, I think when your talking 1/3 of my total xp, thats a little excessive. So thats the 1k from the first death and the 2k from the second death = 3k. The gold loss is calculated like this; 10% of total x 10 deaths = the sum lost. (Note the 10% is of the total since the loss is not calculated until transition which has not yet occured.)
I will state that this is as I see it the issue at hand.
1, You receive the level 13 error if your lower then level 13 and you wont if your level 13 or higher. This is because Resurrection is the spell being used to restore your character on a respawn and your required to be level 13 to cast that spell. Now follow along here, When you respawn your character is raised and only after being raised is it transported through the transition to your bind point. So if your in a group of enemies they will attack you durring the resurection process and thus you receive an error. This will only be allowed 10 times max before it times out in the script and your automatically put through to your bind point. You will once more be dead and have to respawn because you were auto advanced by the script instead of a natural transition.
2, It doent happen in most pvp becuase there is only one attacker still standing on or near a fallen foe. You only get this if an agressor is too close to you when you respawn because of auto hostile. If your struck down durring the transition you get a transition death and not the multiple becuase there are not mulitple attackers. Do you follow me?
3, I suggest reversing the transition states. Basically, have the person transition to the bind point and then go through the resurrection animation. This would stop this bug cold. Also it would not harm the normal use of resurrection scrolls or spells as the transfer to a new transition point/Bind point does not occure.
Dev's/DM's I hope my observations here can help. I understand it may be easier said then done but, it is a solution.
