Relogging to Raid Relics

Just so everyone knows, the prohibition against relogging for PvP has but a single exception according to the commandments - defending your town. If you're raiding a town that isn't your own and you're defeated, relogging a new toon to give it another try is the same as just being killed in the woods and doing the same thing. If there are no PC defenders, it's OK; and if all the PC defenders give you permission (which I doubt would happen), it's also OK since it falls somewhere close to a duel with the reward of a relic; but otherwise, if someone calls foul about you relogging, expect some bad stuff to fall from the sky, probably on fire and with lots of rusty, jagged edges!

ahh yes ty for the clarification here, tho i hope the penalty for this isnt as harsh as the typical scenario of (for example i get pk'ed randomly in the wilderness , i relog and pk the person who pk'ed my other toon)

i can see people relogging to attempt another raid just because the first raid failed without realizing that this falls under the revenge relog -- the purpose (well 99% of the time) is to cap the relic, not to specifically pk a person ....

i was about to do it today after failing a raid with one of my newly leveld toons, but i had to log off abruptly...so essentially i would have slipped up right then and there whthout realizing it until now.... and as i sit here writing this i recall multiple occasions where one toon has failed a raid so i tried a different one.... someone was kind enough to point this out to me in game, and again i am glad it is clarified

so basically i want to appologize in advance if i slip up not even realizing it...i will have to train myself to think of a relic raid as an enhanced pk'ing event , and thus if i fail i will have to wait a bit before relogging and trying a differnt toon
