Killed on Respawn

This happend about 4 times last night. I was in the process of rezing and as my boddy was getting ready to relocate to rez point the monsters killed me again, which caused another rez deduction of xp and gold. each time i died i lost 1k gold and 600xp. now i know i wont get any back which is fine, but i dont want this to happen any more. anyone know why this is happening?

A suggestion would be to wait until the mobs have moved a little bit off your body. A possibility we haven't explored is making you temp invulnerable/paralyzed on respawn, but until we figure out a fix, wait til stuff has moved out of striking range.

Respawning while a hostile Stonehold... or any other AOE spells (Storm of Vengeance, etc) are in effect... is also a bad idea. If you fail the save on resurrection, you get Held in place until SH expires or you die.

I'm confused as to why respawning resurrects you on-spot, then transports you...is it just for the effect?

On neversummer 3.5, when you respawn you PORT FIRST directly to the temple and then you're up and runnin'... less dramatic, but never had a single problem with dying multiple times from the same mob.

Can this not be done here??

Yet, on the flip side: in ns3.5, there were unrelated problems with people relogging to recharge spells, so now you get all your spells un-memorized on relog, but on ns4 this doesn't happen...

strange how 2 PWs can have so many major differences in the inner workings.
