MA jobs screwed up?

I finished the beginning job in MA and I talked to the sherriff and got the level up to second level antagonist. Whats after that? He did say anything nor does he give the option for other jobs. I went around and talked to the temple dude and the tower sorcery dude and nothing. Whats the next job and is there a place where I can see the job listing outside the game?

Hes supposed to tell you to go see Garth(?) in the Dove Inn to give you your next assignment.

I just started an MA toon a few days ago. I finished the Sentinel jobs without problem. Just started the first Arcanist job and no problems so far. The only thing I can think is when the lag is bad, it can be frustrating to get the npc's to respond. I just work on xp when the lag is bad.

i've only really experienced bad lag acouple of times once when fighting, not my favourite time for the game to freeze. and the second while trying to sell items to a shopkeeper whilst my backpack was weighing me down heavily.
