Bug Tracker still in use?
I have a bug to report and cannot find the link. Is it still in use, or should I just post or PM it?

In a battle with gnolls, we were sent upon by a player from another faction. He cast Stonehold (iirc) and 3 of us were caught. The three caught were killed and the 4th chased the attacker away. During that time, one of the party decided to respawn, as no res scrolls were available. He stood up alive, but never teleported away. The holding spell was still active, and after it went away, the respawned member was still there. He healed up and was normal, while the other 2 of us respawned back to Avendell Inn.
I call it a bug as I'm sure the spell was not meant to allow respawn at the place of death.

since respawn works by raising you then teleporting you, you can get caught in the stonehold in the middle of a respawn..us old schoolers used to use it alot in pvp to catch a guy respawning and kill him multiple..multiple times. not reallly a bug, more in the way respawn is handled here. there are other things that work similar to this so it is actually working just fine.

pretty much, if you always fail the stonehold save it will catch you when you get up. if you don't mind taking the xp/gp penalty for standing where you are, i say go for it.
*edit* this kind of respawn trapping for purposes of killing ppl was deemed more illegal than most things as it was highly exploitable...
just thought you PvP monsters out there should know that.

I suppose this is the reason why we don't see that many pker druids any more? I remember when I first came here people would throw stoneholds around like there was no tommorrow.Death Dealer1 wrote:pretty much, if you always fail the stonehold save it will catch you when you get up. if you don't mind taking the xp/gp penalty for standing where you are, i say go for it.

Yeah, stonehold is crazy in the first place. But in PvP when my group of defenders fought O-Thrasher-C (sorry to say, we couldn't take him down with all his druidic buffs on...he kept hiding and resting in the magic shop to rebuff
) and he cast stonehold in the town square. After he got me I respawned and got stuck and stayed there. He had to cast freedom of movement on me to get me out. I personally think that stonehold needs to be removed because its a will saving throw, how is this an illusion? Sorry if this question has an obvious answer, because I'm never a tree-hugger. Or maybe change it to a reflex or fortitude saving throw.
