a few pk questions

I had Artemis defending lastnight and killed 3 people attacking the front gates of nscity (2 where of the Kst guild) well 2 respawned and the last one waited for a rez inside the city gates ...... needless to say i stayed there and killed the 1 of the group coming back from av to rez the other (i waited till he was inside the ns city gate) ... well i get yelled at by them and they whined all night it seemed . Well 1 respawned and logged out then logged in with a l.a cleric to come rez the other ... i couldn;t attack the l.a memebr due to gaurds turning on me so i let the rezzed one go figuring they would start crying about rez killing or whatever. ..... Later that night i was in av and seen the 2 kst memebers head out of av through l.a territory so i followed them ... i followed them all the way to ns city gates and attacked and killed them both . then i headed right back up to av again and sure enough the same 2 where heading back to ns city again! (all this time they where name calling and acting like little kids in shout) at this point i figured another pk would just worsen the situation so i let them go...... Just wondering if pking ememies of my faction in my faction territory is harrassment if they keep running back though my factions territory over and over? .... also wondering if the logging in of a same faction member to rez the invader inside the city with the pker standing there is cheese or not.

The best way to solve whining is to NOT DO IT!!!
And ignore it.

Takes a bigger person to walk away from a whiner than it does to whine back.

first off sorry if any of the whining was annoying but in all reality i totally agree with you on the pk ing thing but we werent killing other people or randomly kinning npc,s we were just leveling and the whole defending thing when we were running down to ns we were trying to go past ns to continue on our journey and you walked up and killed us. So if your going to defend a city at least make it a challenge do be jerkish abiout it and send a level 30+ against 2 16 levels send someone lower so it a challenge.

Art was lvl 24 and how was i to know you where just running past ns city and not planning to attack it as i caught you attacking it before ?

Usually i cut through munchkinville to avoid the NS gates unless i know its safe, only prob is enterance to munchkins to avoid going by NS gates is also NS territory

To put a rough template over the whole thing, no, killing enemy faction members in your faction's territory isn't harassment, nor is following them through your faction's territory since any given area of it would be valid defense. I'd also say that killing someone who comes back to rez a dead comrade isn't harassment as long as you can reasonable say that once back to life they'd go back to raiding and/or otherwise hindering your faction's advancement. That's to say, camping a body out in the wilderness would be harassment as I see it, since all lives are supposedly equal outside faction areas, and it serves little more purpose than to keep someone from leveling and having fun.

As for the whole issue of logging with new characters, it's a harder call... my own heart of hearts lays in Daeron (despite Lolth and the fact that no body raids either Menzo regularly or NC at all anymore), and if I were actually witness to some strange freak occurence where someone from NC were helping a person raiding Daeron, I'd have no problem killing them the same as the invader; in terms of roleplaying, it's hanging both an enemy and a traitor from the city walls from the same gibblet.

the evil will come back to play here if you keep raiding menzo. i agree with yonwe though, kill anyone that touches a person in your town. regardless of who they are or where they are from. ask those guys that were raiding ns one time and i buffed the gaurds so that they could help me.

lol the relogged char was a naked lvl 10 cleric i use for scrolls :/ so it wasnt illegal, it wasnt used for revenge, it was used for a friendly res to make sure havok wasnt killed by npc...

i didn't say it was illegal though it was cheese .... try using the char that was in the pvp fight from the start and not log in another of the same faction you where attacking to rez an enemy faction member that was in your party with the pker right there ..... i couldn't attack the new cleric foe due to faction ties and gaurds turning on me so it was kinda unfair in my eyes to use that guy to rez your fallen comrade

i would have logged in with a completely neutral outcast and killed everyone. cuz i'm dirty like that.
