summons against undead

summons against undead

Why cant a low str monk hurt a shadow with any damage but use a 1st level summons and its damage does all. why is this? does a summons do magical damage and not physical?

The summon might have +1/xx damage reduction which gives it +1 enhancement to it's "weapons"
It's a bioware bug.

No, it's how it works in NWN. It's in the manual.

its how it works in DnD
I don’t really see much point in intelligence anyway, even at very high levels of intelligence, wizards still don’t realize it would have been smarter to be a sorcerer.
