Disarm Question

Is it legal in ns4 to disarm weapons and then steal them?

Last time I checked it returns the weapon to the owner. Either that or it treats the same as PPing someone. Why don't you get a friend to help you find out and report your findings?

From what I understand, when a player is disarmed the weapon does not drop on the ground, but is returned to the inventory.

When I have been disarmed by NPCs the weapon drops to the ground, but it takes several seconds to show up... Almost lost my Demon's Bane, ach!

you can lose your weapon if your inventory is full..

there is also a small random chance that you may actually lose your weapon..

so be careful still!

That's what i'm wonder, i and another person both lost our weapons in the same time period.
On another note, i've somehow gotten stuck on a wall in the neversummer academy district after zoning. Think you could hop on over to server 4 and throw me off?

but then again.. even if it's a 1% chance of losing your item.. it means it can happen..

Yeah, bad luck. Good luck was that i had given a friend's low lvl char a duplicate of the bow i'd found that day, so i'm not weaponless yet.

Relogged once and it didn't work, just did it again and no result. Oh well. Suppose i can shoot ppl or something.

Just ran into the same two guys again, and however disarm is supposed to work in ns4, it doesn't look like it does. Was disarmed like in any other module, and the weapons fell to the ground(got bow back, lost rapier). Wasn't a bunch of attempts in a row either, just twice.

The insane dc on webs still works as well, couldn't beat the dc of 100 unfortunately

How long did you wait to relog ?

I had waited 5 minutes when it happend to me... but it was on South, not NS4. So I'm unsure if my experience is helpful or not.

relogged pretty quickly the first two times. then i quit out for maybe 10-15 mins, and was going to startup steam. Luckily a druid ran by and killed me soon after the 3rd login.

I've been disarmed before and my morningstar fell straight to the ground, my inventory had like 4 empty pages at the time too.

Seems like there is some exploit this people are using :roll:

Maybe disarm should be fixed, and disabled 'till it is? (Sigh my poor disarm...)
