Can't access some toons cdkey locked. Can something be done?

In the wake of the master server going down, I decided that I should once again re /enablesecurity on all my toons. What I didn't realize was that out of my 8 toons on my alternate mule account (account name: stful2p), I created 2 of them on another pc. I do not have access to that game copy anymore (my friend doesn't play anymore and he didn't care to properly store his game).

As logging with the original cdkey is now a lost cause, I was wondering if there existed a server-side solution. For example, could an admin possibly /disablesecurity on my toons in question, or could the admin change the cdkey tags on those 2 toons to the cdkeys of the other 6 a la copy/paste? The latter choice would be preferable since it will not disable the security AND I wouldn't have to relocate all the items to a new toon.

If a server-side solution is possible, please PM me so as not to advertise which toons may possibly be up for grabs, along with any stash they carry.

Even though the cd that your friend has can not be used, you can still use your copy of NWN on another computer, but instead of using the cd keys that came with your copy use the cd keys that came with your friends copy. Or you can change the cd keys via the NWN cd key folder in the program it's self. Though Lokey or mining may be able to help you server side. Just throwing out some other options for you.

Thanks for the reply, but when I said there is no chance of tracking down the game copy, I meant the whole thing: box, cds, manuals, keys.

Hmm, I've bothered lokey enough...he helped me track down some account with some long lost characters (I am a returning player so I forgot one of my account names). He would set me on fire if I told him I managed to lock myself out of my toons that he helped me find

I updated the old public cdkey on the two characters you mentioned to match the new public cdkey you're using. Please try logging into those two characters now and let me know if you're still experiencing a problem.
