Myself, a stunningly beautiful sorceress

After many a mile, up treacherous rock and through many a foul and unpleasant ogre, we came unto the mountain pass where the first of the invaders were to be found. While the brutes swung their axes at the minagons, the dwarves battled a flesh golem. I, meanwhile, did as any sane woman does, and stayed FAR from the battle. Instead I chose to use my gifts to speed along my allies and rain magical arrows of fire and acid upon my unsuspecting foes.
When finally we were finished destroying these mindless automotons, we moved further up the slope, where we found the true mastermind of this invasion in the mountain. It was the barnacle-clad merfolk, far from their sea home, and twice as vicious for the lack of it (twice as smelly too

As we fought our way through them we eventually came upon their leader, none other than the High Lord himself! Quickly I threw every offensive spell left in my repertoir at him, while the dwarves and half-orcs fought him in blazing melee, but he was simply to strong! First he managed to slay Muld, one of the half-orcs. Then without slowing to savor his kill, he turned on Brother Valor and took him down with a vicious backhand slash to the chest. the human stepped in for a sneak-attack, but the High Lord saw it coming and raised his spear in time to parry the blow. Now that his sights were set on Raven, he stood little chance and was quickly dispatched as the merman seemed to handle him with ease. With the odds quickly dropping against us, the fish-man somehow was able to take out our final Brother dwarf. One on one, my only ally left had little chance against this monster.
However, as he was about to deliver the killing blow, the Merman looked upon me. In that second i was able to use all my charms to their best affect, and he held his spear.
"Though I gave ample warning that this mountain was mine, I shall show you mercy. I will revive your friends, and then you must go."
With that he lowered his spear (and his eyes!

And let it be known forevermore, that when confronted by a monster powerful enough to level cities, one who took steel and magic alike and still stood strong, fought a half-dozen seasoned adventurers and won, I kept my wits about me and used that which the godess Sune gave me.
And I won the day.
