A dagger of light streamed through the grate high above piercing my vision. Where am I? A faint rustling! I cannot turn to see what it is. My body is twisted, burned and broken. Flesh hangs from bone and what may have been armor has been twisted into an eternal torture device, spreading ribs and flesh holding my body still and unmoveable.
Let me recollect.... What brought me to this unfornate happenstance?
Ahh yes I remember the SLaves! It seems so long ago? I wonder to myself How long have I been like this?
Yes the final days of the Knights of Square the Table. How cowardice and treachery left me to rest as is. I will recollect to you these events as my passing is enevitable. As I am no scribe please forgive my crudeness.
Left for Dead........
As i recall the day that General Havok had ordered the Guildhall closed and to evacuate Sleeth. It saddened me greatly. It was my home, my place of worship, my place of work.
The weeks prior to this a number of overly exhuberant slaves had been causing quite a stir. A few even managed to escape and entered other factions. At first the Knights took no notice. Whats a couple of lowly slaves nothing to concern ourselves with. We had our handsfull as is with the constant battle against the vicous Death Dealers and the Brethren. But these slaves ultimately may have brought the Undoing of our Haven under the Dragons.
So is it went these Slaves grew mighty quickly and unchecked. Who would have thought they would smite upon The mighty Knights! And they did and without mercy. These battles were quick and devastating on both sides. As the Guild Holy man I maintained a repoire with them and learned that they only wished to assert their power and prove themselves not to be lower then the mighty KST. Not an easy feat if i do say so myself. In turn the General become more and more irrate and looked to other guilds for help. None came to the call ofcourse. We had shown no mercy to Artheria in the past so it wasnt surprising that not many would join our cause. The Mafia did thier part. But the Don seemed preoccupied with other dealings. Damn Them and their profits!

As so it was the mighty Knights of the Ancients left our beloved city. Under much deliberation we decided to oust the halflings of Evenshire and make it our new home. But alas our forces were already scattered and our once mighty force was flickering into oblivion.
The general and his closest companions started to cohort with my once sworn enemies, The Brethren and the Horsemen. I could not adjust to our new allies. Having faced them tooth and nail for so many ages it was against my beliefs and could not even fathom turning my back on my once close companions in Sleeth. And so I abandoned the fools folly of the Cult of KST and returned to Sleeth to pray to Mighty Tiamat and prostrate myself to the dragons.
This did not go well............

On returning to Sleeth my welcome was not warm. Disciples and Guardians were wary of me, the Dragons shunned me.
I hid in the dark corners of Sleeth. Surviving on the rats and making the sewers my home. Coming out only in disguise untill one fateful day.
I awoke from a fitful sleep full of dreams of the hunts of past. A dying roar of Chirem stirred me. I quickly donned my armor and grabed my weapon and shield not relizing i was in full colors of the Knights of the Square Table and ran from the sewers in defence of my lords.
As I ran into the compound who did i see drenched in Dragon blood roaring with laughter and smiting down Kartas?.... It was Havok! Standing side by side with Fatzo of the Brethren!! They wore matching armor? Could it be? Havok the Proud General of KST, Slayer of All, Bane to all Guilds of Atheria had joined forces with the dispicable Brethren!!!
I was stunned and in shock as the Slaves streamed from doors and alleys to destroy the invaders. The next moments are all but a blur to me now. The last remember is a Slave bearing down on me. I had no option but to flee to the sewers but they chased me down and in a flurry of fire and dark magics I was rended and impaled to the ground.
So it is here now I lay for how long i cannot tell. I hear the whispers of young followers as they pass my rotting corpse. What holds me to this plane is only a guess. Tiamats punishment? Dark Magics of the Slaves? My own hatred for those that abandoned me? What will become of me? Only Tiamat knows........

My head ducked down low and my movements stealthy, I work my way back from the home of our Allies the Dwarves, where I have taken refuge. The words on the message boards there in RK, written by the hand of our Ex gerneral Havok, hang heavy on my heart and even heavier on my soul for the rest of the realm.
Could it be true that our Ex leader Kromix has somehow convinced the Gods to make him one of them? Could it be true that other members of the Knights from long ago are also among the Gods of this realm? Surely Tiamat has not forsaken us to this extent. Surely she would not allow this to happen.
My thoughts are a turmoil as I creep into the sewers in search of Toxic, one of the most faithfull who stood by my side and that of our other members when we were so betrayed by Havok and Kromix, who no longer carry titles in my mind as they are no longer worthy of them.
I come upon the broken body of my longtime friend and valiant warrrior Doc Toxic.
"I have sad news brother". I tell him. He lifts his head and listens intently as I inform him of the words I saw written in the realm of the Dwarves... Words written in Havoks own hand as he attempted to disguise his face as Yoda.
"It appears that all the Gods of the land have fallen victims to the magics and trickeries of Havok and Kromix. They have allowed the former betrayers of =kSt= umong the ranks of the Gods and have stolen our guild, it's honor, it's colors, it's home, and it's name, from those of us who through everything have remained faithful to our cause and Faction and have fought to retain it's glory. They have banned with the Godess of the Forest and the God of Nature and are allowing Havok and a new leader with a female name to lead a guild in The Circle amongs the tree worshippers. They have taken our name and are degrading all that we stood for and all that we had accomplished. They have said that if we show ourselves in our colors and our name, that we will be removed from the realm as only the Gods can do." All of us who have fought so hard are left to rot so that one man with a female name may use our Honor and the name of the Mighty Knights to propell himself until such time as Havok returns to the realm. How can we alll have been forsaken for one? I ask you Brother what shall we do but die?
Surely there are others in the realm who would oppose this travesty. Surely there are others who would oppose the Gods action of taking Kromix unto themselves as their own. Kromix, the one man other than Havok who has caused so much disruption in this realm. Kromix, the one man other than Havok who causes strife and contention with all who oppose him. Surely our Gods would not force this upon our community, or our realm!"
"Alas Toxic, faithfull brother of the Knights, perhaps we have been forsaken by all the Gods and if so, I only ask you who will be their next victims? The Dwarves? Perhaps those in the other Factions who opose this new immitation of =kSt=? I fear who is the next to fall, but there is nothing I am allowed to do to warn them."
So, as I sit by the side of my Faithfull friend and warrior, I remove my helm and turn it over in my hands, watching the black and red colors of =kSt= and shuddering at the thought of these betrayers wearing them, and I wait...
*whispering* Tiamat I will remain loyal, even if the Gods do not allow me to roam the lands...
