I have recently been contacted by an organization refering to themselves as the Thieves Guild. I'm not sure who they are, but they pay well for various types of jobs. It was mentioned to me that Avendale had not pay there dues and must be taught a lesson so the organization hired a few dwarves and myself to blockade the south gates. Several peolpe came to defend, but were defeated. I hate to see needles death, so if this they contacts you please just pay the dues. They have also mentioned that they are accepting recruits. All factions and races, no paladins please, they don't trust Paladins, may apply as long as you (that individual character) are not in another guild. I for one, will not be joining them though I may take a job or two. If you are interested, please let me know and I will pass your name on when they contact me again. The did want to stree that they are not the standard guild, have no tags or houses and only have two rules. You can't be in another guild and you can't tell anyone your in their guild. Please don't come after me, I'm just a messenger.

I had no idea what was going on there and got in the middle of it. Saw a summoned solar and didnt expect an attack.

Well now I know, good I was a little peeved at the time.

If any of my actions causes a death, I will be more than happy to rez you. You can then leave, or work with me. However, the organization I speak for would deal with me severly if I were to rez people that returned to fight them. (OOC I'll do that to, just let me know so I can get you out of the area safely.) Lastly, Before i do any work for said organization, I ask for forgiveness from the Gods, except for Auril bane and Mask, who I Know will understand.

''wait here, keep watch'' Havok says to Archeal as he heads into the near by brush, towards the secrt lair of the band of refugees known as kst.

Archeal sliently fades into the shadows on the damp forest exterior as to blend with the surrounding areas for the perfect scouting area. '' S-Sir,'' Havok stutters as he approaches his leader. The town of avendale has been taxed this month sir.''

''Well then, how much did we capture this time?'' Kromix leader of the cult asks as he ushes by havok.

''Where are my riches? My weapons, livestock, GOLD?'' Kromix announces with the utmost irritation.

suddlenly Havok falls to his knees with a grasping feeling oh his throat. ''Where is my LOOT!''

''Sir,'' Havok gasps '' there was a band of troops already there. We walked into the gates with the city already set ablaze. There wasn't even anything left to plunder.''

Falling to the floor as the magical grasp weakens he quickly gets back to his feet.

''What shall we do sir?'' He asks with anticipation.

Just then Sirus and Balls burst through the door come through the door, draging a lifeless archeal behind them.

''Sir the birgand of warriors are blockading the pass. Archeal tried to defend himself but was quickly outnumbered. Fortunatly they didn't see him as he tried to run. We found him still hidden behind the northern gates of avendale.''

Kromix walks slowly to his map of territory owned by the outter factions.''

''Gear up men, Havok tend to his wounds'' Kromix states as he picks up his staff '' as soon as he is able to stand and fight besids us, gear up men. Tonight we show these pesants who the true evil is that runs this land.''

I like the sound of this. Please if you could take some screen shots of the battles. Not for the taunt I killed you but, rather to show some roll play happening on the server. I think it adds a new dimension. It will also be interesting to keep track of what the other factions do about this new danger.

I like the way its going.

Who knows we may even get a cronicler to make posts on the Briggand Wars.

All be warned. The organization I speak for has asked me to punish an unnamed city tonight. If I can get enough components and people, I will find out which city I am to act against. May Auril, Bane and Mask watch over me as I complete this task.

Unknown Guild Leader: "The heroes of Rangnars Kin and the Last Alliance have not been paying us to protect thier roads while they continuosly steal relics from each other."

Minion: "what are we to do master? That area has never been taxed and no one would know who to pay if it were."

Guild leader: "Cade, take these few members and find some others to blockade this route. no one will pass untill our due has come!"

Cade: "Hidden leader, I have found some volunteers. I have also requested the service of a guild that claimes to work for hire. Unfortunately, they request more than the mere 50,000 gold I can pay."

Guild Leader: "Very well, offer them 100,000 gold and a high level item found only in the Planes of Atherea.

Cade: "I have made the offer. It was refused. This guild for hire is afraid to upset the people of this world"

Guild Leader: "Fine! Begin with the members and the volunteers you have. Go now and do not return until the tax is collected!"

Cade: "I go."

(OOC: while it seemed like this would be fun with all the relic raiding, I set up a bit too late and only 2 people crossed through the area. One thought my event was over so was unsuspecting of certain death. I want to give thanks to the Mage who tried to do us in. I can't remember your name, but you fought well. Lasly I found that if you set traps, get a pk to remove level loss, then get rezzed, you won't be able to see all of yor traps. so I'd like to appoligize to the three people who where killed by the traps I didn't find after the event.)

Once again the guild hired me to do thier bidding. It seems the Giants north of Avendale were tired of adventurers coming to slay them. They paid the guild a hefty sum to clear the area of pesky adventurers. Though the guild is getting stronger I still had to hire out for this mission. we cleared the area and killed a few lone responders, but eventually we were overrun and had to flee. (ok, we died but that doesn't fit in the rp story if I'm telling it). I hired a painter to capture some of the moments. I should have spent the money on another killer, but the guild wanted a painter to, so there you go. Hopefully next time he will paint immages with more action.
