The Origins

Post by ATI »

A starlit night twinkled above, as the earth sat in peaceful tranquility. The dew on the grass freshly lain from a nights worth of light rainfall. As the smokey moon's twilight twinkled across the vale, the history of epic battles played across the air. The essence of good and evil played out on the whistling winds. The sounds of hammers, swords, and thunder playing against each other in a cacaphony of chaos. On this aniversary night of a long forgotten battle, the people of Melencia dare not stray from their their hovel.

This night was not, however, like any other aniversary, for that night, the God's were fighting each other. Although, the battle replayed itself in absolute versimilitude, the heavens and hells were battling in the cosmos above and below. It was on that day, the rift opened between the planes, and the newcomers ventured into Melencia. The clash had left fragments of the god's clashes strewn across Aetheria, known commonly as rift fonts, points at which the energy of the god's collided together.

It was on that aniversary that the battle between good and evil would be taken out of the other planes, and the battle ground be thrown on to the material plane. Attendants to all the major gods sent their first representatives to each of the 7 major factions of Aetheria. It was through these factions that the gods would send their agents.

It is on that day that the angel Gabriel was born. Created by the positive energies of the greater gods, he was infused with life and born with the will to create harmony amongst Aetheria. Brought into existence as a mere boy, the angel Gabriel would be the first of many that the gods sent to finish the battle between good and evil.
I've tried fire, i've tried faith, and i've tried force, all I have left is hope.
