Heya

First of all i want to get all the credits for finding this to creators of NS4.
There is a beautiful city of NC. Full of clerics, pallies and other holy crap. But wait. No temple. No Healers. No Restoration.

So i was drained from level 7 to level 5.

And guess what. I get Xp like i was 5th. Of course i have a little less AB and skills. But what the hell - feats remains. I have a lot of str and money and potions. And Full HP from 7th level.

So drain me more my beloved vampires

If I'm not mistaken there are no temples, no healers and no restorations in any of the cities. There aren't even any wheres you can buy a potion of restoration that I've found yet. If the monsters are going to be doing things to us that require a specific remedy, then that remedy should be made available at some point because not all of use travel in "well rounded parties".

First if it was an exploit i would not posted it here just after i found it out.
Second - i am playing non cleric char so i cant remove level drain. I also cant go to city and pay for cure. So i must walk with this drain until death or server reset.
So excuse me but i will not die everytime i am drained.

I agree that the temples should offer the services of high level npc clerics, but at a high gold cost. 25000/level restored, 5000/ability point restored, etc.
(Or I would go so far as to say 50000/level and 10000/ability point.)

Also the exploit with gaining xp at a 5th level rate while being drained from 7th level is being able to do it with abilities leftover from level 7. Maybe our character's stats from each level could be kept in the database to get accurate level drain effects.

for some reason, 'restoration' spell or pots don't remove it despite saying it removes lvl drain :/

It restoration doesn't work then it should be reported as a bug. As for restoration being available, I have 4 restoration potions that I have picked up so far, so it is available.

i tested this and found that the exp i gained while level 12 was the same as i was gaining before i was drained (level 18) test was done as githzerai, i guess it's possible a non-ECL class might be different..

This bug was already fixed, that's why.
