Hii good day to all of ye.

Thinkin of re-installin NwN2 after quittin it a long time ago

and coming back to Neversummer.

Complete noob in what I need to do, (apart from installin NWN1? the expansions needed? ofc Ive got all these and NWN2 ) to be able to get onto the server.

Is there a charactor planner any1 could link me and also any feedback on what strong class's are around these days.

Had great times on Neversummer3, not sure if any1 would remember me, char was called Rudie, ( think i was a sorc ?

I had written a little paper on NS4 strategies and build tips for the MDs when I was an MD (its a dead guild btw). I can see about digging that up... some of the info may be out-of-date, not sure.

You need SOTU and HOTU. Diamond version of the Game has all of these, that is all you need. It can be picked up at walmart for less then 30$.

Diamond NWN can be had at Bestbuy for 19.99, saw it yesterday.

granted ofcourse that its nwn1 that we are talking about here. in the first post you made you mentioned reinstalling NwN2.

just wanted to make sure that was a typo, otherwise you might run into a snag or 2 m8.

Ive got NWN2 and also NWN1 and the expansion packs, ( cant find HOTU though i got the empty box and book

) I assumed NeverSummer would need NWN2 installed, i get the feelin that isnt the case?

Just out of interest, lookin at some of the dates that people have posted around this forum, is Neversummer still alive and persistent? I presume my old old chars will still be there from when i played a few years ago ? ive no idea

Im eager to install it all again, but just not sure if the game/ servers are alive and full of gamers :wink:

I doubt your characters are still there. There was a vault wipe awhile back. And yes NS4 is still alive and well populated. But you will have to load up NWN1 and all the expansion modules, plus all of the updates before you can play. You don't have to have NWN2 installed though.

dont load 1.69 yet. as far as i know that will keep you from logging on because ns4 is still at 1.68... or am i completey wrong in this?

Far as I know, 1.69 will not be in the available updates for the auto-update utility until it's out of beta (which it's in it's 2nd beta release now).

I could be wrong, though...in which case, critical rebuild FTW!
