Finally. Just saying bye to those who helped me. Even with the pure class bonuses I still couldn't beat anyone. I guess I'm just not gifted with the skill of clicking menus as fast as others.

Video games are supposed to be fun as you go. For me, memorizing a mountain of text and clicking buttons was fun for a few months, but it got old. I felt as though my dues had been paid and that it was time for me to start "enjoying" the game, but it just wouldn't happen.

All of the planning, memorizing, and learning is just too much for me. I have a mountain of coursework to do in real life, and I need to apply my memorization skills to something worthwhile.

Sorry for all of my whining. I'm used to being a winner, not a pathetic loser. This has been a test of patience that I have failed. I stuck it out longer than I imagined, though.

I hold no animosity toward anyone.

I'm going to go back to Phantasy Star Online. If anyone wants to find me there just email me at mikeyade@gmail.com. I won't be checking the boards anymore. You can delete my boards account.

Thanks Linuxpup for trying to make me "not suck," but it wasn't enough to overcome my lack of knowledge. Thanks to Mystic Knight and all of the HNs people who helped me, and to anyone I forgot.

well, sad to see this happen. Pure paladin isnt the PvP 100% winner build, there in fact just is not one, nor was there meant to be.

I will say thanks to the people involved in getting Pure Pally to happen and from what i read in the change log, pure pally is going to be a great inclusion in parties with the raising ppl thing, and also just as a tank with nice output of damage now thanks to holy sword working on Neutral things too.

I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with for Pure Rangers - should be fun.

To Ade you were so close to lvl 40, maybe you could of stuck it out a bit longer ?? ah well are ya sure you deleted the toon - wouldnt like to log on and um deposit all that lvl 35 shining mail and stuff in my pack ???

I'm not sure if this was the only place he decided to test the new pally buffs, but it was his last. He came into Sleeth solo with 4 Slaves hanging around the compound expecting a raid.

We went poof he went boom and complained on shout that he couldn't hit anyone and took massive damage. Yet when he described his AC/AB they were better than my D'Beepbop_a_Lulu's, a pure fighter.

His last choice of foes to test his build on:
1 lvl 40 AA
1 lvl 40 Barbarian
1 lvl 40 Cleric fighter
1 lvl 40 Bard

Between max bludging, slashing, piercing damage with curse song, well need I say more?

That combination is tough enough to go against with a solid group, let alone solo.

Heh, I must have the worst characters around and I'm still enjoying the game. Why? Well I'm not expecting to solo everything and own everybody. Just having fun. And that's what all is about.
Sorry to say, but I won't miss you much, although when we had you in party you were a good and worthy member...

My first was a monk, lol. Took fighter first lvl so I could get weapon finesse. Kronk, was his name iirc.

Zen Archers are awesome. Incredible spot builds, just need to get some True Seeing and maybe some Owl's Wisdom from someone and you'll be able to see just about anything. Its a shame we can't build them (effectively in RK), no Elves so no auto-Detect.

Lorekeepers and Svirfneblins make good zen archers...
