Harper Feats

Just checking,

Is taking a different feat other than the fav enemy in epic level (for some reason you can) classed as an exploit here?

I dont see why it should since you are able to and Harpers need something to boost them up but i'm checking all the same.

Please no stupid comments about Harpers which i know you are all brewing up while reading this

how can picking a feat in the selection screen an exploit? if you can do it then its pretty much hardcoded and unable to change.

Harpers are allowed to choose whether they will pick Favoured Enemy or not, where Rangers to pre epic have to choose Favoured Enemies.

So in short no it is not an exploit.

Also, don't forget, Rangers can substitute other feats for their FE feats at epic Ranger levels too. Similar situation with epic level characters that have 10+ levels of rogue (rogue bonus feats expand to include epic bonus feats).

The only feat selection exploits I've come across were where you were able to choose feats you technically were not supposed to at character creation.
