Illegal Relic Areas

The RK tunnel in Black Hills shouldn't allow relics... an area where no one but apprently RK can go... I thought this was illegal.. was chasing a BB and he got away because of this.

What's stopping an RK from dropping the relic there so no one can get it?

It's just a transition. There's no 'middle bit' in which to drop it.

Has already been brought up in a thread that went for 7 pages. Theres no area in between those tunnels, the tunnels are a transition rather than an area.

Well, then they should either allow anyone to pass through, or at least no relics. This is obviously unbalanced. An RK character just has to go through one portal and he's pretty much clear.... if MA, LA, or AO had this everyone would be arguing the same thing.

We all have to go the traditional route... so should you guys. Hope this gets fixed.

No I did a long time ago... when it was still going on I think.... I just thought the issue was fixed.

Yes, at the moment, an NC toon can enter the tunnel but not exit it (gives a message when you click on the exit to the extent that only TC can enter).

next time check before you start yelling that it IS illegal when in game. you ruined your credibility. and you'd never have been that close to me if your comp. didn't load transitions faster than mine.

Actually TC and NC characters can pass the tunnel coming from the fey cave but it's closed for both factions from the other side (Melencia forest?) iirc.

Yeah I could have sweared it was illegal... guess not... You wouldn't have had the relic in the first place if my computer hadn't crashed, so count yourself lucky. :lol:

Anyway... hope that gets fixed... I reviewed the other thread and almost everyone seems to agree with me that it needs to be changed.... even RK's allies the AO. RK of course is biased in this case and can't see things cleary. When I'm in agreement with Brethren folk and DCN you know there's some sort of consensus.

RK shouldn't get special exceptions, and being far away is a *GOOD* thing. It's better if RK had to run the entire long way with the relics... I wish MA had to, because its easier to defend than to raid.... which means raiders have a harder time getting to the relics, and the defenders have more of a chance to kill the raiders while they're running away. This is why it's hard for LA to hold on to relics... its so easy to get there again and again with no trouble.... one can die raiding LA, then be back there in less than a minute... not so with RK... be thankful for that.

But yeah, if LA or AO had a portal that jumped near the relic area of their maps, everyone would cry "unfair", and yet this is what RK has, as Poet noted.

I'm not even against them having an exclusive portal, just no relics with it... Can MA have an exclusive portal (that allows relics) that goes from Avendell Crossing to Garagoth Road? I doubt it. It would be unbalancing.

Anyway, point made... I'm done with this thread.
