Quick Query on Shifter Exploit

With the current rule that only Druid/Shifter 's are able to get the epic shapes, is it possible (or classed as an exploit) to take an alternate class after taking these feats, or is it forbidden in the levelling screen and impossible anyway.

If you try and take a different class after you take those feats, you either can't use those feats any longer or you're forbidden from taking that class - one of the two.
