lets all try to remember this is a game and its purpose is to have fun(i think?).......

tensions seem to be running very high lately.. while i think some of it is good for Rping purposes and faction wars the rest of it i think has crossed that line...

ninja looting, blaming DMs, excessive shouting about pie accomplishes nothing except making more people upset and isolated....

so lets try to get along for a few and have fun or at least try to...

SO.. drink some beer eat some ice cream with sprinkles and chill the $#@# out...............................................

feel free to lock edit delete spam flame whatever just do it in a fun way at least

I have been real quiet in these posts, some of which have specifically blaster and flamed me.

I am not posting to do anything but enlighten people.

when a dm boots u and u do not feel it was just look at it from there perspective. and yes I have been booted for spam on many occasions. and yes I felt real pissed off about it. and yes I did sit back look at the situation and let it roll off my back.

ninja looting. hmmmm this really makes me mad when people ninja gear. man that was the only item ever on the server and I'm never going to get another one. dang.....

dms are just and fair. people don't realize the petty stuff being brought to the forums is indeed just that..... petty.

noone looks at everything as a whole.

chase, one of the most universailly hated dms hasn't put up his 1000 damage traps in a long time..... but noone says oh man I'm glad for that.... instead they find and poing out other downfalls ( in the players eyes ) of another dm or player.

on the player note.... whens the last time I went on a pking rampage? took over the pass? randomly killed lobys??

well I'd have to say at least a couple of months. but noone says hey way to go havok u changed !

instead I get blasted in forums about spam, told I'm abusing shout with sales events ( even after a dm said we were ok ) and constantly bashed in posts when I offer help or services. meh oh well its just a game.

dms are put in place for reasons. one is to uphold balance, justice , and fairness.

granted, that when u yourself become a dm and see all the constant crap they get from players about anything making them mad at the moment u will also understand there point of view.

but whenit all comes down it is just a game. the loot will allways be there. unfortunatly u are playing a multiplayer game. u won't allways get along with the next person and will possibly end up getting angry and pissed off but hey, if u want to control ur universe there is a toolset and u can make ur own world. or play the single player mod.

Praise mask ! (who threw randome spells at me last night )
praise auril for his traps !

praise tiamat for his morts to our aoe spells during the boss fight to make it more of a challenge!

praise annonymaous dm for dm kill when I try to pk a group in a dm event!

praise greenbeard for booting me for spam !

without all these dms not punishing me and upholding out ns justice system this would would be crap. granted I don't allways agree with the dms I do understand they are looking out for the best interest of the server !

Wow....This had made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Can we get a round of Coombayaa with that beer. Seriously though I see much of what has happened in the past months to be a positive thing. Without conflict we as a race stagnate, now just keep in mind there are different levels and intensities and that has to be kept in the forefront of our minds. And we need to deal with these conflicts in a mature and appropriate manner. Ok Chase...feel free to lock away. MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with Tekk on this one!

And as for Havok..I agree that you have been better since the wipe ...unfortunately I have also watched you become Kromix's Pawn. Sad ...really... He griefs and instigates and you get blamed for it.

Reallistically..nothing is done without motive. Many things had to change for you to be a part of tlb. This is good and for those things that are sincere, I am sure we are all grateful...

No flames here just want to relax and have fun. It is only a game. I don't believe that anyone should want this server to become a place where real lives are adversly affected.

I miss Auril's active intervention.

Most fun I ever had in ice efreets was back before the wipe... pre-drow darkness changes. Mid-teens party of us were using darkness to power level.

After a "warning" or two (Slow traps), we went back into the efreet cave. It took us quite a while to get even partway through it, since all the efreets had UV, buffs, and there were traps all over.

Much fun.
