DM Gear

Just want to clear something up.

There is no such thing as DM Gear on this server. If you see us on with player avatars we're using all the same gear thats available to you.

No exceptions. Ever. The end.

Out of curiousity--what about the divine avatars? Are they equipped with standard gear or is it custom stuff? I believe Mielikki's blades are scimitars, and I'm unaware of an acidic scimi.

If an DM's god avatar has different gear, it is all non-drop stuff for visual appearances only.

Okay, I figured it was something like that. Although I hear they've been known to engage in combat... so it's probably +5 or +6 at this point

Deities should have some fairly decent gear though...

mezzoloths have a scimi with acid damage on it

i have seen a weapon in action that did damage types unavailable to any of the current weapons of that type by a questionable toon...wont really say much more but if a DM wants to contact me feel free to

There are no 'special' weapons in the module. Period.

DM Avatars may have irregular gear, but we don't use those for attacking peeps obviously.

If you're so sure you know otherwise call it out.

heh.. what about feats and spells that a normal player build could not possibly attain? (ie: a certain paladin/cot with epic dodge that I ran into pre-wipe, or say, casting multiple greater ruins, or teleporting, etc...).

certain items may be in game and being tested. that you guys dont have at this time. you may see a toon wearing things your unsure of,,they may also be doing some test to see what goes and what stays.


the point is that no one is using DM god gear whatever

ok I've killed a dm when raiding my city and the dm didn't have the money I guess and I got his great sword from killing him.

there is no way that sword drops anywhere since it was comprable to G1 gear.

also melekki has shown me her scimis and same thing. there is no way those r drop items.


******edit. the dm sword was also immiadiatly ganked frm my inventory as soon as the dm could.

not sure if you noticed but Meillikki? is a God...Gods are the only ones with strange and powerful gear. this gear does not make it into the population. as chase said, sometimes the powers that be test new and unusual items. these are not meant for the general public and as such they don't get used unless they are being tested.

i think the point the might Zing is trying to convey is that DM's are not allowed to cheat and bring in super uber weapons to use on chars they are playing for fun.

well this still remains that I attacked a '' city invader on as a dm char ''

when he was killed he didn't have the proper said amt of money and we got his great sword.

which was immiadiatly removed from my inventory.


I understand what u are alking about when they have uber gear and that's fine but the point is this dm ''did'' attack pcs with his uber gear.

not an attack on anyone and to clarify it did happen some time ago.
