Stat changes with sub races

Post by Daedalus »

I just thought I would check on this before i made a character.

With the implementation of the stat sytems which actively changes the stats once you enter the game I was wondering if it was allowed to pick a feat with the non changed stats at lvl 1: For example

I am a Half Ogre who suffers a -2 to dexterity.
Upon character creation i chose to have 15 dexterity therefore allowing me to get the ambidexterious feat at lvl 1. (Even though when i enter the game my dex will be put down to 13.)

Is this allowed?

Technically since u are recivint the fear before the "leto" changes your stats u wiull be able to take the feat.

If u are attempting to get any other fearas that require 15 dex then u will have to wait for your level 9 fear since u would have to pump your level 4 and 8 points into dex to bring it back up to what it was originally.

U shouldnt loose the feat since that is going to be hardcoated into your char before leto takes over.

if its like that at char creation the dm's can't do anything about taking your feats away. its in the char creation engine.
if i didn't do it...someone else would have.

I would say this would be an exploit. If you have knowledge of the exploit before you go into char creation and use it, you're gaining the benefits of stat increases without paying the tradeoff penalties.

So, don't do it.
