Clarification Needed

Someone online, in speaking of a L30 PM build, indicated that this toon (since a "level 9" caster) would be able to cast a range of Bigby's spells while his summons was pounding away at you. I consulted the NWN Wiki and found that it says (I believe) PM levels do NOT increase the base caster's levels. That would mean the the ONLY Bigby's a L30 could cast (assuming 10 levels of, say, Wizard) would be Interposing Hand - which can be dispelled by a number of things, even Lesser Restoration. Have the developer's altered this NWN functionality or does what I've said apply still?

If NS4 operates the NWN default way, that would mean, with 10 mage levels, said summons would only have 2 attacks per round. One defense against this would involve II and ED. The challenge then would be how to kill of the high AC PM. A C30/SD10 might do the trick. Now, if 4 levels of a fighter type class are taken, then that complicates things a bit. But with HiPS (unless the summons has True Seeing - in which case why in the world would GS be disabled), perhaps not a problem. Would Greater Dispelling be effective here?

PM gives you spell slots for higher level spells if i am not mistaken. you dont learn any new spells but you still recive the slots, so all you have to do is get your hands on some scrolls.

if you take enough lvls of wiz in the right order with PM then you will recieve lvl 9 spell slots...not many, but enough to cast. if you take auto stills then you would be able to cast while the summon is killing you.

if you run up against this sort of pm just use dispell or greater dispell..the DC's on any spells put up from this char will be low enough to be gone from most any mid lvl caster. if you attempt to fight this char be wary that the summon is not a normal undead and just may take your head home as a trophy.
