Boards

I have seen boards as of recent that include a small chat box near the bottom where users who are currently logged in can chat/banter back and forth. Is that a certain forum type or can it be added to our boards here, seeing as it is a neat little function.

IRC works well for that, though if you are on a network of types ( college networks for example) you may not be able to connect to IRC....blasted institutions of lower learning...i have to deal with that for 9 months of the year....time for me to go rant to my IT dept.

yeah, i would like that feature. It may help reduce off-topic posts. You would be able to reply to someone in the chat box instead creating lots of spam posts in topics where they shouldn't be....

uh oh.... zing is on a mission....and yes it would be a cool feature for people who enjoy spamming and going off on tangets...mind you , I would never do such a thing...

i think zing means you guys make him want to bash his face into his keyboard so he doesn't have to listen to all the insane things you want him to do.

i say good job zing and gratz on making that sticky Leto subrace thing work. i know that was some difficult stuff.

I have an idea for the forums... How about we make it so that every time someone posts some inane nonsense like "pwned" or about gaseous exchanges
