Class Alignment Restrictions
Class Alignment Restrictions
Are class alignment restrictions (on top of faction restrictions) in place for NS4? I have wanted to try a paladin/bard or a monk/bard but the lawful restrictions always kill that idea. I have had a quick search through the docs but can't spot any info on class alignments.

The restrictions are in, and as far as I know, there's no way to change alignments in the course of the game.Denort wrote:I was referring to the class alignment rather than the ability to change alignment. eg. Is it possible in NS4 to be a lawful bard? Do paladins in NS4 have to be lawful good?

Okay... now that I understand you... What would make you think that the alignments required for classes would change?

With all the other changes the devs have squuezed out of NWN I was curious about alignment restrictions. Some prestige classes have stricter alignment restrictions now. eg You can not be a CG, N or CN Champion of Torm, nor can you be a NE Shifter.
But no matter, I am sure there is more than enough new and interesting things in NS4 to keep me occupied.

That isn't because of modifications to the classes themselves, but rather due to them being exclusive to factions that disallow those alignments.
