signs of video death?

would this be a good time to get a new video card and away from my nvidia geforce 2 mx 32mb card?

just think...i evaded several hostiles while carrying my relic home thru all this. i want someone to doubt that i know how to negotiate the server from memory.

suprisingly enough..this is the first time i've had problems. since the new planar areas came out i get sketchy lag that no one else does and i crash alot...me thinks 3-4years for the same system might be too old.

The last time that happened to me 2 years ago, I discovered that the "chip" on my card was overheating because the fan and cooler were plugged with dust.

I replaced the fan and cooler, bingo, nice clear picture again. Now I make sure I clean it regularly.

bought me a new cpu, and couldn't start the game, only way to play this game is to de-activate all 3d adjusters. Prolly this game is getting a lil to old for the newest cards. Other, newer, games doesn't seem to have this problem

got me a new vid card from midnight. went from that geforce 2MX 32mb to an ATI 9800 PRO 128mb. i can see shadows now
