Does this mean if I wanted to make a Risen Lord Scythe WeaponMaster I would be unable to do so, or that I would have to wait post 20th lvl and get the feat first since Epic Form: Undead and then take my WM levels?First, no Epic Shape feats can be taken if you are not either a pure Druid or a Druid/Shapeshifter combination (this means no monk levels).
The way the post is written, it would appear that you could take your epic form feats you wanted and then grab the non-druid non-shifter offending class (specifically mentioning the monk) I assume this restriction was to prevent the monk/shifted form uberness but it should not exclude all other classes. I mean, I'd like to do a Scyther shifty type but this limitation would do one of two things:
1. Totally forbid the build (interpretting can't take epic form feat with non-druid non-shifter class as you can't take the feat with a non-druid non-shifter class AND you can't take non-druid non-shifter class with epic fom feat/feats)
---or---
2. Cost me a 1 att/rnd since I cannot take WM at 12 lvl to get AB to 16 pre-epic (interpretting the can't take epic feat with a non-druid non-shifter class as just that - you cant take a feat w/non-druid non-shifter class but once you have that feat...)
If the second interpretation is true, then once you get the epic form you want, you should feel free to take those coveted monk levels.
Ho-hum. I hope the epic form restriction was not added simply to prevent monk levels for shifters...that would be a chop off the leg to stop the gangreen in the pinky toe approach.
But the Devs are smart people who probably forbade the 3rd class to prevent 4 att/rnd and lower AB as well for the shifters. That being the case, I guess I can chill with this rant. I would like a WM Risen Lord with 4 att/rnd though.
and before someone complains, I know its not 3rd class that is the rule it's non-druid non-shifter, just consider druid as first class and shifter as second class and all your complaints along those lines will dissapate)
