with the latest additions to the subraces that scale as you level, just wondering what about other subraces such as water genasi, air genasi, half-ogre, etc.

are they getting sme nice bonuses too as they level?

thanks for latest updates on subraces, they are more useful to play now! :D

yes thankyou, about time the duergar are worth playing now 50% concealment is way better, and drow were always way over powered but are these only for new characters - or they effect old ones too :-)

BTW aasmir is worth playing now :-) and so too the earth gensai +2 ecl for not much before but now they get something and the hide for the halflings should bring out some nice little combo's thanks again :-)

hmm... about the fire genasi wondering if it could be 3 uses per day? only being able to use it 1/day might not be as useful in battles that take a while (such as the planes).

compared to earth genasi, the AC will stay but the flame lash will only happen once. just a thought :)

Drow darkness was changed, did they change tiefling darkness too?

Yes, Drow and Tiefling darkness work identically.

Nemesis, good idea about the uses per day. We are probably going to modify the number of uses per day for all the subraces based on the power of the ability.

yep; perhaps make the user use flamelash x/day where x is every 4 levels of the character. or something like that :D

new subrace looks cool, good job on fixing the old ones.

if adding new subraces sometimes...any way on playing monster races with heavier ECL's and bonuses?
if i didn't do it...someone else would have.

i like the changes but is there a way to make the water and air genasi scale it to something higher? maybe 10+1. eheheh

my water genasi is level 28 and the dc on his slow is 29 atm

thanks for the udpates!! they are looking really good! cant wait to see githyankis emerging as a powerful force for melee!

Does anybody know if the Aasimar sub-race can KD giants now? The old skin had an error that made their size modifier small and they were unable to KD anything larger then Ogres. Just wasn't sure if this got fixed.

I would submit that you're smoking something - I know of no way that a playerskin could even have that 'change size modifer to small' listing on it - even using Leto.

Had to be something else at work there.

Hi all, was on a while ago when server was going down for leto sys implemenation.

Can we get some clarifacations on what this actually means? like +2 INT races will actually get more SP. And same with deat qualifications now ??

Also i initiated soem discussions on half ogre becoming size L - IMO this would be the only thing making them worth playing for 2 reason.

1st the -2 int and wis means you will have really low saves even for a barbarian or fighter type + now you will be hammered in the skill points area, however this could be offset by L category meaning u can knock down more enemy types and dual wield large wpns ??? possibly.

essentially the question becomes what is being done if anything now or in the future to make certain races like the half - ogre (2 ecl is a joke - have a look what u get for that with a duergar) and the Kender - not to bad ecl 1 ( should be 0 ). I would like to try a half-ogre but as it stands only thing they r good for is using as a mule :-)

It's a rough life as a half ogre, being able to start with 24 strength ;) Being treated as large does count for scripted things, the sticking point is the engine stuff like knockdown or being able to use greatsword + shield or 2 halberds. Size is tied to appearence in the engine, but using a large model means you can't fit through regular sized doors--way too annoying.

I would take the not being able to go through regular doors for the being able to use the larg weapons and a sheild you could also put transitions on the ground infront of the doors instead of in them
