Heal Changes

Post by JesterOI »

Does this affect how potions work?

The changes are welcome... However, it's a bigger change than would have been expected.

Think the class it affects most is bard. Their party support ability just took a huge leap.

it does seem to effect pots... last night 2 pots were healing 600 damage on avg, came in handy when fighting 6 cr43 mobs at once.

But for sure-- I am going to have to alter my spell assortment for Sin on lvl39 (hit and pending)...

It also makes the weaker healing spells and pots actually useful. I never bother with the cure light or moderate pots because they only are useful at very low levels, and are useless past level 10. That's why I only hoard the stronger stuff for new characters.

For Greater Restoration, maybe it could be based on d20, with a minimum of 450 and a max of 800? Mathematically following the progression, it should have a max of 1280, but it was recently changed because the devs didn't want it to full heal.
