new disarm
how long is the wait after your disarmed before you can use that weapon again? i had one disarmed to my inventory and couldn't use it until 15 mins later when my opponent crashed. also during this time i couldn't drop just a regular weapon from my inventory for a friend, it kept telling me "Disarm" and putting it back....is this right?

I also have been getting "disarmed" messages with Matron when trying to drop weapons (only unidentified onesfrom memory and never been equiped from memory). I know it has effected Anydur and believe this issue may have been effecting Shadow Demon at one point as well.
To my knowledge none of us had been disarmed (successfully) and did not have ful inventories at the time.

Same happened to me, had to re identify an item 3-4 times before someone suggested resting. Kinda weird to be disarmed by yourself, due to bag being pretty full on weapon changes.JesterOI wrote:I noticed getting weapons being given the disarmd status when switching weapons in combat and not having enough room in my inventory.

Oh yes LOL
All of what you describe is exactly as I would expect.
You all thought that the new disarm script only helped the disarmee, but it is also a powerful tool for the disarmer now aswell.
The good news for Disarmee's was that there would be no more weapon theft by much higher level chars and that monks could no longer disarm direct to thier own inventory.
The good news for Disarmers was that once you hit a disarm the victim MUST rest before he can use that weapon again.
Dropping weapons in combat won't work either.

disarm script is nice; has it been tested when there are like 5 disarmers spamming disarm on a person? wondering if the server will be affected in any way.
deathdealer, yeh i suppose you'd have to carry alot of weapons now. poor dexters with low str cant carry much as their strength counterparts though. somehow this will make players go for strength-type characters more, or put more lore into their skills, and will also encourage camping-areas for their weapons.
the consequences so far, or that's what i've thought of
