Ideas to combat multiple manual resets.

Post by Poet »

I know Pros has 3.5 set up to do timed resets every 4-8 hours or so. (or at least it used to) What is the possibilty of doing that here and posting the reset times on the forums? Obviously that wouldnt cure all the headaches but it may save a few manual resets by the DMs and may help keep lag down a bit.
It seemed to work well there and maybe it could help here. Something like just before peak load times. Maybe 3PM EST and again at 11PM EST

Just a suggestion and once players are used to it they plan for it.

As always,

Most of the resets that happen when I'm awake are update related.

We will have periodic reset capability soon, however whether of not this will be used I know not.

maybe have a timekeeper NPC in neutral cities that you can ask how long till auto reset, and have him shout the 5-4-3-2-1 minutes reset alert and then POOP a reset... :)

maybe make him a bunny? lol
