Cannot load my characters in NS.

I've started 3 characters and now I can't play any of them. My first character I left in the rift and tried to come back and it would never load, and I figured that it was just a rift bug thought to be too minor to worry about. Now I made 2 more characters that both loaded & played well until last night. Now, for some odd reason, whenever I go to load either of those characters it crashed my game after the loading bar is filled up. This is a bit distressing as I would definitely like to play because I have friends on this server, so if anyone knows & fix on my end or could contact the DM's to request a reset or something, anything, I would greatly appreciate it.

Its a normal problem, first get into your video settings and turn off shiny water. While your there you may want to set it so it goes a bit easier on your video card and bring the sliders down.

If that doesnt cure you, look inside you hakpak folder and clean it out, then do the same for your override folder. Both located in the install directory of the game. It one or the other of those issues 99.95% of the time.

Yeah I went into the settings & turned off shiny water, and made sure I had VSync matched up with my video card settings, and went back in & it worked fine. Im not sure if that was you in the IRC chat, but thanks to you & that guy (if he wasnt you) for the help

NP, you are welcome. Just spread the word, if you have trouble logging in always shut off shiny water first. that solves alot of problems for some reason.

In a roundabout way, though you can thank TGPO, cause he told it to me when I had that problem =P

Kind of sad to have a X850XT Platinum and still not be able to use the visuals. Thanks for the help though guys.

Blame bioware, its not like they havent known about the issue for ... oh about forever now.
