Ok... After having been on both sides of a DM relic event I feel that for the most part the Gods should let the mortals handle their own affairs in this matter. If it were up to the gods they would be able to get any relic they wanted at any time, but it's not about them. The players and thier characters should be the ones struggling over the relics not the gods themselves. Consider it a big chess game and we are the pawns... let us do the fighting even if the gods are directing our moves. DM events like the one we had the other night are not PvP events and should be commended. Other events that put players against players only serve to bring strife inside the community. Until the other day I did not realize this because I had always been on the losing side of the DM relic events or City Sieges. It wasn't until we raided SL the other day that I realized how unbalanced things were in these events. I would also like to appologize to Thruldor and Wrath of Lolth who attempted and almost succeded in defending their relics against 5 epic AO characters and a horde of Dragons. The event was made to teach another SL member not to take the gods names lightly but they logged before the event even took place but even with this reasoning I believe the event may have been too one sided against any single faction. I really do appreciate all the hard work that has gone into the recent RPing events and believe this may help bring players together and help them cooperate with each other while allowing the other guilds to see what it is like on the other side of the fence. Perhaps even some events that pit Good vs Evil on a fair playing surface would work as well but I do not agree with the aiding of players for relics or city sieges at this time.

Yes there should be some balance, but when the attackers are at a disadvanage (when me and LA tried to pry our relic from SL and we continuosly got murdered), its really cool when Rudash prayed and they had Sir Pepin join in on the raid with the 'Troops of Neversummer." Of course we still got pummeled, but that was also the infamous night that I stole the relic later as sneaky as I am
