Whiners!!

Hmmm, where do I start. Ya know some ppl that pk ppl over and over get warned and possibly banned, even if they arent at fault tho, but I think whiners should get disciplined as well.

I pked someone today and dissarmed em also, and yes he was a low lvl but he was kst (enough said) lol. When i killed this guy, the first thing he typed out was 'noob' and i get that a lot. I dont even go around all day pking low lvls and dissarming every chance i get, I will attack ns at times and get a huge group trying to defend. I'm just gettin sick of whining ppl after pking them. This is a pvp server, and i follow the rules as closely as i can.

What im saying is that there should be warnings given to whiners, and one idea could be taking shouts away for a period of time if thats possible.

I think its the surprise of it that gets people out of the comfort zone and whining is a way to deal with that if mummy and daddy encouraged it when you were an infant...

Positive encouragment of negative behaviour.

If beaten a fare fight, ie one they saw coming and could chose to run like mad or stand it out then I'm sure most people would refrain from complaining.

I happened to be on during the incident I believe you are referring to and all I can say is KST members you joined the guild either go about improving its reputation or prepare to targeted everytime you log on by people hacked off with your "leaders".

It is not harrasment to kill someone based on faction, race, or guild membership so think twice before you sign up and prepare to reap what those before you have sown.

Oh and for the record if youv'e had equipment "stolen" during a PK whining about it will never get it back, try congratulating the player and asking nicely, it almost never works either but its got a hell of a better chance then calling them names.

oh, yeah, shouting that your weapon got stolen broadcasts your weekness

My 2 cents worth.
1. I have several builds and try to help those I can, depending on the build I have at the moment. I have a kSt build also, but I dont solely play it. Yet it is this build that has helped alot off players out either by cash or equipment given or even as far as rez'ing a hostile player (after an invite of course)
2. I realize that kSt has a bad name but that doesnt make us all bad. One (or 2 ) bad apples dont spoil the bunch but it does make it harder to help those that need it. Example: running from Avi to the ice giants to rez some one and getting pk'ed at the cave entrance lol.
I guess what I am trying to say is that if I get pk'ed I always send a tell with " nice kill" in it. I have only lost weaps twice and have gotten one back.
I agree. If you get pk'ed don't shout it, send a tell, congrat the pk'er and ask if you can have your item back. If he says no, look me up and I will help you get another one if I can.

Well guys, this topic wasnt intended for kst alone, its eveyone that whines bout gettin pked and dont mind pking others. Myself and a friend got disarmed and pked the other day by a char, but we never said a word to him. We just respawned and logged our other chars to lvl wiht is all. I just think there should be some kinda warning for whiners who paly here. I just still dont think they realize it is a pvp server yet, but with certain rules of course like grieving. So what im saying is that whiners should be given a warning to ban for a day as does a griever.

And the pkers should learn to respect the idea of no pking those of the same faction or alliance, or allow their 'buddies' from different faction they are partying with slaughtering in-faction/in-alliance guardians, npcs and pcs ...

First off I appreciate all the attention were getting from everyone inregards to us being pkers... And there have been many times when I have giving back weapons when we have pked people I my self know that there is a bad name for us but me myself am trying to change that

We are pkers but we are going to try to rp it more

Appologies to all who are over the unwarranted focus of attention for seemingly puting one guild centre stage, not my intention at all, it was an atempt to illistrate a point that applies to all.

Dont get me wrong we dont take any offense to this thread since usually anything with any type of regestered complaint is consered a whine we are used to it.

Also sometimes people are just mad about certain things.

Example. The other day along the pass Me and kromix encountered multiple people leveling. Both lower and higher level than us. Everyone we encountered we requested for them to bow before us. Those who didnt we would destroy ( and in one case the char was impossible but we still tried to do it ) . Then one char who will remain nameless got pked and shouted that we were being our regular selves pking everyone for no reason.

Whining has become a regular thing on ns. Yes i know we were once those type of people but as aof lately we have been trying real hard to RP to make it enjoyable for everyone. There have been cases where we have let people go. There have been cases where the other people will talk crap back and expect a PK in traditional good vs evil rp fasion.

So basicly the only way to stop the whining is to disregard it when it happens. Ignore them and dont give any sympathy and i guarentee it will cease a bit.

You guys are still missing the point, you are all talkin bout pking once again. SO LETS START OVER.

I was trying to make a point about whiners that complain when they get pked, i just put one example of me gettin pked and alll i did was respawn.

This topic was intended for suggestions and opions for giving whiners the same treatments as ppl breaking the rules, they should get a warning if no one (meaning the pker) did anything wrong but pk them. If the whining keeps up after being warned then they should get banned for a day.

So can i have some opinions on this please.

No. In all the cases I've seen, the PKers taunt those they kill, then shout "whiner" when those killed respond in any way at all. If you want to stop the "whiners", ban those pkers that are creating the problem by harassing and taunting.

This isnt even the case.

\Kst has been known as ruthless pkers for a long time now. This morning me and kromix were leveling. I asked him to grab his mage to get me some money and it just so happened it was parked in fromt of NS. So rhe did a quick raid. No biggie. THEN all of a sudden with no taunting on his part people start shouting out random crap whining...

We have gotten to the point where it doesnt matter what happens whenever kst is involved in a PK we are bullies , harassing , and jerks.

The mindset of people needs to change not the gameplay. Although we have been rping alot and have had complements from people about how our guild has taken a change fer the better, i think people need to get it out of there head that if they whine then someone might do something about it.

We rp , pk , and level. Thats what the server is fer right? Fun of the game?

i never said it was , i was giving an example. I know there are more out there but so the post doesnt get locked i used us as an example about how whining is comming off in my oppinion.

It was an example of how people act twards a random pk rped or not.
