Quest Givers??

Post by ThunderChief »

I am really new here to neversummer 4 and was wondering if there are more quest givers than the dude in the barracks located in Neversummer City? I have traveled to Falme, Avendell and Evenshire and have found no other quest givers.

Indeed ... we are severely lacking in this department, in TC 8)

think the ''factionguilds'' will fasten that stuff a bit up. Well it isn't the fairest thing that some guilds have access to stuff like quickend pass and defender of the pure and others don't have something... not even mentioning the ability scrore bonus you get from them

Faction Bonuses

Oh yes my bonus against Vermin has come in handy more times then I can count. Not to mention my slave followers that get slaughtered as they follow me around. :-P

We are a hack/slash pvp server, with some quests thrown in to help guide you along at first and get you hooked.

Someday we may be full of quests all over the place as the team gets them laid out. That would be ideal.

For now enjoy exploring the huge world and use a little imagination when you see a named npc that does nothing:) Maybe a dm will possess it and have a little chat with you next time you pass by. Alot of them are there for just that. A little roleplay

I am a huge MMORPG fan. I have played UO, WoW and a game currently in beta and my hats off to you guys that have created, and currently maintain, Neversummer4. I am amazed with what you have created and look forward to exploring the world.

i've explored the world....and only rarely is a DM there actually interacting with the players as a NPC. i think it might have something to do with the needy ppl, but that is just a guess....what do i do next?

I find that DMs interact with players as players much more often than as a possessed NPC. I really would like to see more of that, but I can't complain. I've had an out-of-the-blue quest given to one of my groups before by Tyr in the Mountain Caves. Although, it be nice to have more quests like at the Three Towns. Those are fun, especially the hard ones where you have to group up and defeat something crazy hard, also take more than one step to get there like get information from a second questgiver...
