Well I was playing but had to come out and make a post... It is fantastic whats been done guards, the npc AI so many things I have seen in last 2hours. Figured dev team was workin on something but I must say I am very impressed. Keep up great work and Thank You for keeping me on my toes...

The damage type on the dragon claw is slash/pierce - so assuming *that* works in the same in Bioware land as the dual damage type weapons, you should be using whatever damage protection your target doesn't have (if that's the method the halberds etc are using now with the latest patch - can't remember offhand).
But, sounds like a good chance for someone to do some annectdotal testing on the damage type, amount, and damage reduction and report back...

all the ai stuff is great but are the epic summons supposed to be in stealth mode ALL THE TIME??? i mean its a great feature but when you are trying to have your summon attack something and it takes him 20 mins to get there than i think there might be a prob other than that GREAT JOB DEV TEAM im looking foward to more stuff to come soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I relvled my dragon, well its tough going from 6att/round to 3
and as much as i hate to say it it seems a reasonable change bringing the dragons down and on par with others. did a few test rounds unbuffed vs fully buffed fig/cleric i can barely win im 32 he 26, if i am fully buffed still good ac the ab takes huge hit though w/o monk lvls and i can avoid most attacks but the ab and less attacks makes fight last much longer. blkmamba sacrificed himself in the name of testing
but overall seems like the perfect choice, the little extra damage is good and going through log i had a tough time trying to figure out if attacks were slash or slash/pierce.
btw i tried taking another class to see, i like the message that pops up

And, there's still kinks to work out about who rests when and how much. Shouldn't be a problem to tweak it so it's appropriate. Until then - enjoy the slumbering!

because this only nerfed the dragon cheese mostly not the sd...
now when sd gets nerfed more we might see some ppl storming off

are ice giant bosses high enough lvl/smart enough to buff on spawn? cus they are still bufing on sight...
also check the rest every so often... guards rest non stop...
