nwn2
i was wondering a couple of hings. Fist off when nwn2 comes out is the developement of ns4 going to continue? or are you guys going to attempt to integrte the server to use the new system of things. I just really would like to know if "soon" which is the answer to all peoples questions for when something big is going to aappen in ns4 is going to happen before nwn2 comes out and everyone looses interest. Or are we going to have ns4 and ns4 for nwn 2 ??? That would be cool

Over the last couple of months, we've accelerated the pace of NS4 dev work. We're making progress every week on major additions, but they just involve a lot of work. The dev forums have been pretty active with discussions too about ideas and refining implementations. And, we've added yet anothe pair of hands to the dev work this week so we're excited about that and will announce that soon.
Probably first order of priority is getting jobs for all the factions at least up to Last Alliance. After that, it's probably parallel work in refining the crafting system, enhancing the AI, getting the spells complete and balanced, and adding new areas. I'd love to give a timeline on all this stuff, but because it's all done on our free time, it's impossible to predict. But, I know a few of us have been spending far too much time on NS4 lately....
NWN2 - who knows. Since they're still developing that product, the release date and capabilities are unknown. There's talk of being able to migrate stuff, but you never know til you get it in your hands. It does look like they're designing it much more persistant world friendly (native database support - yay!), so some of the wheel-reinventing that had to be done for NS4 won't have to be done again. But, at least speaking for myself, if I'm able, I'd love to see things brought over to NWN2.
Hope that helps a bit.
