New area contest

So, soon is really soon now.

Going to be releasing a new area soon. Probably won't be before Sunday since I'm headed out of town today. It's an area that's an epic extension of a current area and is probably about twice the size of gnolls. The CR range of the mobs is between 23-36 and has about a dozen or so new mob types and about 20 drops ranging from +3 level items, a few +4s, and even a +5 item. Just doing some final balancing testing and tweaking now. I'll probably let you guys do the final balance testing though.

But, when it is released I thought we'd run a little contest. First person to post a screenshot of one of the new areas here wins 20 heals and 20 rezes. You're going to need it...

Good things are happening behind the scenes. Stay tuned.

They are in your nwn folder, they are called something like NWN0000.tga.

if you cant open a tga file, download irfanview its freeware and let you see those files.

I press CTR-PRINT SCREEN, then go to a paint program and paste. SAVE AS a .jpg file, and upload it to a free web host like Freewebs.com or Photobucket.com.

That's probably the dummies way of doing it, but it works for me.

You don't need to go right into Paint when hitting PrtScrn, since NWN saves the shots in the main install directory. The only downside is that they're TARGA files, so you can't open them in Paint. Most of the cheap photo editing software that come with printers should be able to handle the files and let you save them as bitmaps, JPEGs or PNGs. If you just want to look at the files, you can open them in Quicktime's picture viewer.
