NS4 Rewards:
$25-49 - 100,000 XP and 500,000 Gold on one character.
$50-99 - 250,000 XP and 1,000,000 Gold and Wings of your choice on one character.
$100-250 - Above plus your choice of any one item in the game that you can name and that drops off a monster
$250+ - One character of your choice is set to level 40.
I take it the reward for donating $250+ is a character you can't play?

I also like the idea that if there is a vault wipe, you're pretty much out of luck. I can sooooo see a vault wipe once the cap is lifted.
I admit, the tone of my post may have been somewhat harsh, but I do believe I have raised some valid points and implied some questions as well that I was hoping one of the devs or admins could answer.
I guess I will have to spell them out.
1) Does the ability to purchase a level 40 character indicate that the cap will be lifted "soon?"
2) If a donation of $250+ is made, thus raising a character to an unplayable level 40, but there is a wipe done before the cap is raised, are there any assurances that the level 40 character credit could be reused?
Do I plan donating $250+? No. At least not in a lump sum and not for the sole purpose of gaining a maxlevel character.
Have I donated money in the past? Yes. In fact I've donated more money to this website than what the game cost me.
Perhaps I've been in system analysis and project management roles at work for too long, but my mind instantly goes to, "Did you consider THIS scenario?"
I realized that the ability to have a character at level 40 would IMPLY that the cap may be lifted (and I'll use everyone's favourite word) "soon." But, for anyone who wanted to invest that much money I felt it was necessary that they get some kind of assurances that they wouldn't feel cheated in the end.
I do apologize for the tone of my original post. Though, I do feel I'm somewhat allowed to be in a pissy mood at least once in a while... Especially after having had a three hour dinner (can we say bored to tears?) with my wife and her ex-boyfriend, which was the case last night.

in a previous post it was said that a vault wipe wouldn't occur until dire circumstances or the end of beta which ever comes first. another thing that was told was that at lvl 25 you stop but keep accumulating xp even though you don't gain lvls then when the cap is lifted the xp kicks in and you gain the lvls. if that is the case you could buy a lvl 40 char and be maxed instantly then once the cap is lifted resume you lvling to 40 and have the very fist lvl 40 char.
